Although I cannot speak for My Sisters, I do feel that We, Professional
Dominatrixes, have the right to see whomever We choose, at a frequency convenient
to Our schedules. Some of Us are willing to take on the burdensome task of training
a novice, Others will not. Some of Us have minimum age requirements, Others do not.
It is all according to experience and personal choice.
We also realize that We are human and can make mistakes. A true Professional
Dominatrix will quickly apologize and knows She will not be thought less of because
of that apology. She also realizes that Her subs will make mistakes too. She might,
at Her sole discretion, punish the sub, but She puts the mistake in the past and
does not dwell on it. (With the exception of not showing up for a session without
a prior cancellation. Once might be forgiven if She is compensated for Her time
and the reason is valid, e.g., a medical emergency or death in the family; however,
a second occurrence without notification is grounds for immediate dismissal and
permanent banishment.)
Many of Us have at least a minimum of emergency medical treatment in the
unforseen event the sub becomes overwrought, faints or has a problem. We have to
know how to best stabilize the individual and, based on the situation, decide
whether to continue with the session or not. The knowledge We must have and
maintain in this area alone is unbelievable! We are fully aware that We could
accidentally do irreparable harm which should never be on the agenda. It is not
unusual that We attend various classes from time to time to keep Ourselves up to
date.
An example of this was this past summer when Viagra was making the front
pages of everything. One of My more experienced subs thought taking Viagra would
intensify the session! The silly lad did not fully realize combining the endorphin
rush with chemicals would not be wise. It took Me about 15 minutes to stabilize
him. (We did decide to finish the session - it was wonderful.)
Or when I recognized the fact that someone was going into insulin shock - he was
not diabetic and had no prior history of it (although it was in his family). I stabilized
him and stopped the session. I sent him directly to his doctor. He did have diabetes that
his doctor had managed to overlook because no symptoms had manifested at the times of his
physicals. His diabetes was so far out of control he could have suffered a stroke. The diabetes
is now under control and he credits Me with saving his life. He is a grateful and faithful
submissive who has returned to his training.
ProDommes always have to stay informed of new toys, whips, implements and be
experienced in using them. And We have to know how to clean, sterilize and care
for them. We are always aware of Our responsibility for your life. That is not an
understatement - could you even conceive of suspension or inversion with faulty
equipment or an inexperienced Dominatrix? The thoughts are horrifying!
We are also compassionate and take the time to listen to Our subs. We respond
accordingly. We know the world does not revolve around Us, as much as We feel it
should. ;-)
We also put a great deal of time, energy and creativity into devising,
directing and implementing a scene. We do not want to become bored or stale; we
go to great lengths to come up with different ideas and concepts. This requires
an amazing amount of research and ingenuity.
An experienced Dominatrix will always be prepared for the scheduled session.
She is meticulous about Her Person and the Dungeon. She provides you with a safe
environment in which to experience the session. Her implements, toys and equipment
will alway be well maintained and safe.
If an experienced Dominatrix, professional or otherwise, agrees to see you, be
aware of all these factors and consider yourself lucky. Remember, you are putting
your life in Her hands, that is a heavy responsibility. She should be honored and
rewarded accordingly.
